Data scientist in training. Systems thinker by nature.
I build meaning from messy data, bring analytical rigor to human problems, and believe good work sits at the intersection of curiosity and craft.
I live in the space between curiosity and creation. My path has been unconventional — from team lead to care coordinator to pre-admissions work — but the thread running through all of it is the same: I find patterns, build systems, and make things work better.
Now I'm channeling that instinct into data science. I'm building toward a Master's in Data Analytics — currently working through DataCamp and a Udacity Nanodegree to lay the technical foundation before enrolling at WGU.
Outside of data work, I shoot photography, build home automation systems with Arduino, maintain a home server, and spend time thinking about how good writing and good data aren't as different as people assume.
Jonathan is the gold standard of personal accountability.
He is able to look at the whole picture. When we had to brainstorm ideas to solve a problem, he always brought great new thoughts. I believe Jonathan would be a strong candidate for any position he's offered.
Jonathan has shown great initiative tackling jobs he wasn't familiar with. He never comes across as condescending — he has always done whatever is asked of him.
In the seven years I worked with him, Jonathan always conducted himself in a very professional manner and constantly wanted to learn more to improve himself professionally.
Open to data science roles, freelance analytical work, and interesting conversations.
